BREAKFAST CLUB

For parents who are up and out with the lark we offer a breakfast club for children which starts at 7.30am. The children who attend will get breakfast and will be dropped to St Mary's Parish Primary School or their bus which will take them to their schools further afield.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

When a child leaves pre-school childcare and progresses to primary school there is a need for continuity of care in that childs life. We at Daisychain recognise that the needs of the older child - socially, emotionally and educationally differs from that of the pre-school child.

Our main objective for Afterschool care is to offer a fun and safe place where the children can develop life skills. We ensure that the children have an input in structuring their own activities and we offer a comprehensive programme throughout the week. The children arrive at the creche between 2pm and 3pm and they get a healthy snack that varies from day to day. We have a homework club so the children can complete their homework before going home. Other activities during the afternoon can vary depending on the interests of the children eg. arts and crafts, computers, football, basketball, vollyball etc. We work closely with the parents and the child to make their stay enjoyable and fun.
